Advertising
Eligible public content may display Google AdSense advertising. Legal/support pages, embeds, draft/noindex resources and active Pro experiences are configured without PROFENG ad placement.
Sponsored content
Paid placements must be visibly labelled Sponsored. A sponsor cannot change a calculator equation, default engineering assumption, output, source credit, safety warning, comparison criterion, editorial conclusion or verification result.
Affiliate links and referrals
PROFENG participates in selected affiliate and referral programs. When a qualifying outbound link can generate compensation, the relationship is disclosed close to the commercial option and the link is qualified with rel="sponsored" or an equivalent appropriate relationship attribute. Affiliate or referral revenue does not determine calculation results, technical requirements, source selection, ranking or editorial conclusions.
Affiliate networks and advertiser approval
Approval of PROFENG as a publisher by an affiliate network does not mean PROFENG is approved by every advertiser on that network. Individual advertiser programs remain unavailable on PROFENG until the relevant advertiser or program is approved and a valid tracking method is available. Pending, rejected, paused and unapproved programs are not presented as live commercial recommendations.
Contextual placement
Commercial options are intended to appear only where they match the engineering or procurement context of the page. A live partner is not automatically displayed across unrelated content. Technical content remains useful without a partner offer.
Click attribution
PROFENG may record limited first-party attribution information when a user chooses a commercial partner link, such as the offer, placement, referring PROFENG page and campaign parameters. Partner or affiliate networks may apply their own tracking technologies after the user leaves PROFENG, subject to their own privacy and cookie practices. PROFENG does not place partner approval status or secret credentials in public page code.
Supplier requests
Supplier-request data is shared externally only after explicit user consent to supplier sharing. Calculation context is shared only when separately selected by the user. No supplier roster is implied until real suppliers are approved and routing is tested.
Editorial independence
Advertising and commercial relationships do not convert a source acknowledgement into endorsement and do not determine how engineering news, technical methods, procurement criteria or safety considerations are described.
