Undiscounted lifecycle screening cost adds installed cost plus annual energy and maintenance costs over the analysis period. It is intentionally simple and should not replace building-energy simulation or code compliance analysis.
Lifecycle cost = installed cost + years × (annual energy × energy price + annual maintenance).
