Why use this percentage calculator?
This calculator handles three common percentage questions: a percentage of a number, one number as a percentage of another, and percentage change between two values.
Example
Enter 25 and 200 to calculate that 25% of 200 is 50, or compare an old and new value to estimate percentage change.
Important note
Percentage change uses the original value as the denominator. A zero original value does not have a finite percentage change.
How to use it
Start with the inputs shown above, review the assumptions or options, then generate the result. Where the tool creates a file, keep the original until you have opened and checked the downloaded output.
