Why use this random number generator?
Generate a whole number between an inclusive minimum and maximum for everyday choices, test data and simple simulations.
Example
Set both minimum and maximum to 7 and the result will always be 7; set 1 to 100 for a random integer in that range.
Important note
This tool uses the browser's ordinary random-number function and is not intended for cryptography, regulated drawings or security-sensitive decisions.
How to use it
Start with the inputs shown above, review the assumptions or options, then generate the result. Where the tool creates a file, keep the original until you have opened and checked the downloaded output.
