SECURE SOFTWARE DELIVERY
DevSecOps Supplier Evidence Guide
A practical evidence checklist for evaluating whether a software supplier can integrate security into its actual development and deployment workflow.
Evidence to inspect
- Branch protection, peer review, automated tests, dependency scanning, artifact provenance and deployment approvals.
- Vulnerability triage workflow, remediation SLAs and supported-version policy.
- Secrets management, privileged access, logging and production-change traceability.
AI-agent considerations
- Identify autonomous agents and service identities separately from human users.
- Define authentication, authorization, least privilege and audit trails for agent actions.
- Keep human approval boundaries for high-impact production or security changes until evidence supports further automation.
Acceptance
- Test the supplier process on a representative release, not only policy documents.
- Require exportable evidence and ownership of build/deployment configuration needed for transition.
